Aggregation of Offer Curve for the Good

Aggregating linear offer (supply) curves across groups of markets, as a function or at a given price.

Question template

In a regional network of medical service providers, there are num markets areas where physicians offer a crucial medical test. In num a of these areas, the offer curve follows offer curve a, while in the remaining num b areas, it follows the curve offer curve b. Each offer curve gives the quantity offered by a single member of its group at price P; the answer is the total over both groups (numbers rounded to two decimal places). With each test priced at $price, determine the cumulative supply of tests made available across all areas.
